Brightcove-No Longer be Accepting Video Uploads
Brightcove is hauling the plug on Brightcove.TV, it’s consumer-oriented video platform which was most of the time compared with the same video file uploaded to Brightcove.com and YouTube.com to see which video streaming website offers the best end result. Brightcove says that it will no longer be accepting video uploads after December 17, It seems that Brightcove is finally giving up hope that it can compete with YouTube as a consumer video. However Brightcove.TV will continue to operate and showcase videos from Brightcove’s partners but no longer for consumers. In a different story as per Reuters it says BrightCove is trying to be the Google of video.
